SMU Ultimate is a vibrant CCA club that has a duel focus: spreading the fun and joy that is playing the sport of Ultimate Frisbee as well as achieving sporting excellence and bringing the requisite renown to SMU. It is a leading CCA in SMU, always attracting a large group of members year after year.



Ultimate is a vibrant, fast-paced, and dynamic team sport. The sport itself is definitely not for the faint hearted! Running, jumping, strategy, plowing through long grass or sloshing through mud, simple disciplines or a unique skill set unlike any other sport, Ultimate has it all. It is a sport that anyone can partake and excel in, as constant and proper training can achieve all this. Team chemistry naturally plays a pivotal role in establishing the harmony and cohesiveness of the team and the club as a whole, and that is one of SMU Ultimate’s strong points. The unity and camaraderie is an element that is constantly strengthened and widened with Ultimate players joining the rank each year. This spirit of acceptance and friendship is a hallmark that any member, old or new, can enjoy.

The team is engaged in numerous competitions, both local and abroad, that give a wide and effective scope of experience for players to grow and develop. The Ultimate Frisbee team is vibrant enough to provide for constant scrimmages to keep players in touch with the development of the sporting scene.
