Kendo

SMU Kendo Club was established in July 2005 as an affiliate of the Singapore Kendo Club. The founding members of SMU Kendo Club believed that one can cultivate one’s mind and body through the practice of Kendo. Kendo, or “the Way of the Sword”, traces its origins to ancient Japanese swordsmanship and the strict code of the samurai, which emphasizes diligence, honour and respect.
